Able Property Inspections is a Vancouver, B.C. based company founded in 1997 by Lane du Toit, P.Eng. Lane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and he is registered as a Professional Engineer. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C. (License Number: 23895). Lane is also a member of The National Association of Certified Home Inspectors - NACHI (Membership # 5011936). To be a successful property inspector it is necessary to acquire a broad range of construction and building related experience. Furthermore it is essential to continue gaining hands on experience. Lane has accumulated 22 years of experience on Construction projects, Project Management and Commercial, Industrial and Residential Property Inspections. Most importantly, it is necessary for the inspector to be able to communicate well, to enable the client to fully understand the nature and extent of the property deficiencies. Able Property Inspections Ltd. carries out property inspections throughout the Lower Mainland but will travel to any destination as required. If necessary we work together with highly experienced technicians using state of the art technology and equipment to carry out specialized testing of construction materials. Able Property Inspections Ltd. adheres to stringent Inspection Standards and follows a strict work ethic. We employ the latest technologies in an effort to ensure that you have the most accurate information on your property in the shortest time. Typical inspection equipment includes moisture and gas leak detectors and electrical test equipment. We can even look inside walls and hidden places with our fibre optic Borescope!
